Sofie Graduation
Lukas
I met Lukas in Greece when volunteering on a farm. We bonded quickly, and when it started raining one day I spontaneously asked him if I could take photos of him in the rain.
Mirella
I documented Mirella's performance at Superson's private event.
Mirella and I met the first time when we were background extras on a children's comedy show. Later we also went to the same school. It was a coincidence that we both were booked for this event.

Omah Lay
I documented the performance of Omah Lay in Vanha Ylioppliastalo, Helsinki, Finland. I saw a few acquaintances in the crowd.
Deidei & Laavu Housewarming
I documented the housewarming party of deidei and Laavu.
deidei is a nordic based global DEI agency (DEI= Diversity, Equiety and Inclusion).
Laavu works with psychological sustainability. As said on their website: "Laavu’s membership is like a gym membership for your mind.".
It feels meaningful to work with companies that are striving to create a better world.

I documented Pehmoaino's show, after the show she told me she has the same camera model as me.

Aron Syrjä
Aron and I got to know each other when I was in 8th grade and we both performed on a school concert. Since then we've had shoots every now and then.
Karin
Karin and I know each other from upper-secondary school. It was quite cold during this shoot, but we took many of the photos inside (maybe for this exact reason? I can't remember actually).
Anna
Anna and I got to know each other in upper-secondary school and hung out a lot in the same friend group. We had this shoot during spring 2023 when I had an ongoing project of a series of portrait shoots.
Ilena x Vessö
Ilena on Vessölandet.
Me and Ilena have known each other since 7th grade. Every now and then we have collaborated on shoots. This one we dedicated pretty much a whole day to, driving around to a few different locations in my sisters car that in fact a few years later ended up getting scrapped :( rip Birger, you were definitely a car.

Olivia
Olivia and I both volunteered on a small farm in Greece. One day we took some photos.
Club U-haul
I documented an event by Club U-haul - "A club for bipoc queers and friends".
It was a very nice night, went there with two friends. We were all supposed to get together before the event, but all of us got delayed for different reasons, meaning we met up outside the event venue instead :D

Vera
Vera and I became very good friends after attending a mentorship program on making changes in society.
At the time of this shoot we lived very close to each other and the photos are also taken in the same area. We have both moved aways since. Many good memories <3

Vimma Company
I documented the fashion show of Vimma Company at Helsinki Fashion Week 2023. They surprised me by giving me a sweater after receiving the photos, which made me happy.
Superson
This was a private event by Superson that I was hired to document. I remember really liking the venue when arriving, such nice furnishing. And I also got food there, yum.

Mai & Joni Wedding
I was honoured to get the task of documenting the wedding of Mai and Joni. Spending such a big day with a couple, from the ceremony in church to moments where it is just the couple and I, feels special.
Ilena

Joakim
Joakim is my brother <3 He is the person I photographed the most when I started, and in that sense this project was a return to my roots, although I didn't have a studio at hand when starting out.
Marimekko
I documented Marimekko day Fashion show in the Esplanade park in Helsinki. I remember that this was one of the first days that really started to feel like summer in Helsinki that year.
Gregory
When I was location scouting for one of these shoots the day before, there was no ice on the water. On the morning after during the shoot, there was. But it worked out great anyways.
